Tsunami South and Southeast Asia: Help for Mother and Child

Four out of the eight villages in the district Bang Muang have been destroyed completely during the tsunami on 26 December 2004. In total 1212 families (5538 people) lost their home. The Thai authorities built four camps to provide emergency shelters for the affected population.
