Malteser International: About us

As an international aid organization of the Sovereign Order of Malta, our aim is to enable people in need to live a life in health and dignity. For more than 60 years, we have been working in over 30 countries across Africa, the Americas, the Middle East, Asia and Europe to support people in need, regardless of gender, political belief, origin, or faith. Christian values and the humanitarian principles of humanity, neutrality, impartiality and independence form the basis of our work.We are supported in this work by a network of numerous local, national and international partner organizations, donors, and friends.
