Myanmar: Malteser International brings relief to communities affected by floods

Malteser International teams in Myanmar have been responding to the emergency situation in the country's Kayin State after flooding from heavy monsoon rains left at at least ten persons dead and 100,000 displaced. Large areas have been evacuated and people have moved to evacuation centers to seek shelter.

Malteser International staff have been distributing relief supplies since Thursday, and plans to expand its intervention efforts in the coming days.
